Kale Chips

I make this recipe a lot.
And I always tend to have a lot of kale left.
I then say, "I should really try and make kale chips."
But I never do.
Then I throw it away because it goes bad.
Well, I finally did it.
I made my soup.
Made Q a new baby food that used some kale.
THEN, made kale chips with the rest.

Why I have never made these is beyond me.
I LOVE chips.
And salt.
And these were perfect.
Easiest things I have ever made.

Kale Chips

1 bunch of kale
Olive oil
Coarse Sea Salt

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Remove kale from stems
  • Wash and dry
  • Put kale in mixing bowl and lightly drizzle with olive oil.
  • Lightly toss to coat
  • Put kale onto cookie sheet
  • Add salt
  • Bake for 10-20 minutes. Until edges start to turn light brown and is crisp to the touch.
  • Place on paper towel to absorb oil and cool
*Be careful not to add too much oil. Kale will get soggy after it cools. You just want a very light layer to coat.

Hope you enjoy!!
